About Me

mo swillens
As an Artist Mo Swillens is mostly inspired by people and their way’s. How do they relate to the world and to each other, and how much of their inner world do they show. She uses different techniques with an emphasis on photography, graphic arts and installation. The chosen technique is above all a means to bring across the story, the contence, in the most direct manner possible. Although her work has a tender and intimate atmosphere, this directness is of great importance. The viewer is moved, and that is exactly what she strives for, it has to appeal to one’s feeling. In several projects she cooperated with other artists. She enjoys the interaction, the give and take, or the definition of viewpoints.
