Alexander Gronsky
Well, I visited Foam the other day...
Unfortunately I wasn't that enthousiastic about the exhibition 'Pretty much everything'. I thought there were to many pictures, a selection would have been nice. I know I was supose the meander through the exhibitionspace but there wasn't that many space to look at the pictures.
But then, in a totally different room there were big white photographs, pictures of landscapes almost abstract and monumental. I thought it was magnificent. The photographer was Alexander Gronsky. Thank you Alexander

You have to hurry. This nice exhibition ends in about two weeks. It's to be seen at Foam Amsterdam.
Foam shows about 300 pictures this duo made in the past 25 years.
There's also a possibility to buy one of the four posters in the shop of the museum or online.
They are huge! 118,5 x 175 cm and only 40 euro each.
You can also purchase a real photograph, it's on auction on 11 september and this work's a bit smaller, about 28x35,5 cm.
But there's only one, and you'll have to bid.
Bidding starts from 6000 euro

zomergasten Erwin Olaf
How wonderful, a whole evening I have watched a televisionprogram with Erwin Olaf. But even than, I wasn't satisfied.
So for me, a little desert, a bis bis, a little more. Just to watch this great personality and his beautiful work a bit longer.

Fresh and new
Yes, you're right, my blog's background is suddenly white. Even the language has changed. Well, I have had a long discussion about using English or Dutch. Other forummembers believed it is ridicoulous to write in Dutch because only 22 million people speek dutch and over 350 miljoen speak English.
When I saw that my friend an collegue Willemijn de Wit also wrote in English in her blog, I thought, what the heck... I'll try it too fearing making a mistake or two not being a native english speaker.
The color white, that's because of the changes I've made in my website. I've worked so hard the past three months, it was of no use to update it. The best sollution was to make a whole new structure. So, this week I didn't leave the couch and had a 24/7 ticket to skype with my dad, while he updated all my data.
So, here it is...my fresh and new website...check it out for yourself, hope you''ll like it!
